MCM Comic Con enters its second year in Liverpool and people came out in droves in a host of wonderful and bizarre costumes.
The Comic Con began in San Diego, USA in 1971 and has cloned itself multiple times since then to become a global phenomenon, from Cape Town, to London, Europe and Australia.
In what can only be described as the “Geek Mecca”, Liverpool’s MCM Comic Con brought together some of the most singular of British businesses, selling custom made game-consoles, viking war-horns, swords and daggers, T-Shirts or just rare comics.
